Join us April 3 and 4 for the ELI Online Spring Focus Session 2013, "Learning and the Massive Open Online Course," where we will engage the teaching and learning community in exploring this new online course model. Tour institutional examples of MOOCs, various instructional designs and delivery models, processes, methodologies for setting up and evaluating the model, and implications for teaching and learning.
D2L Conversion Labs will be held around campus to provide instructors with a hands-on course conversion experience to facilitate smoother transitions to Desire2Learn (D2L). Conversion labs are held through MSU IT Services and co-sponsored by the Office of Faculty and Organizational Development.

By now you have probably heard the recent news of YouTube launching its newest tool for teachers, “YouTube for Schools”. Working with teachers, YouTube has put together more than 300 playlists for education, broken out by subject and grade level.
Please join us for a hands-on informational that will give faculty/staff a beginning view of the design process in game design. This group activity is offered free of charge for MSU faculty and staff.
