Overview:
First place AT&T Award recipient EAD 866 (Teaching in Post Secondary Education) is a keenly visual course that encourages online classmates to act as a “community of learners.”  Students engage in active learning that culminates in teaching an online module of their own.

Highlights include:

  • Graphical concept organizers
  • Learning activities checklists
  • Classroom assessment techniques
  • Creation of a community of learners
  • Students become course co-teachers

Join us as instructors Ann Austin and John Dirkx, and course environment creators Rhonda Egidio and Brandon Blinkenberg discuss the development of this course and how you can integrate some of their techniques into your online or blended offering.
